Skútustaðagígar Craters
An easy hike around the pseudocraters of Skútustaðir. The area provides great views of Lake Mývatn and is a good spot for birdwatching.
Skútustaðagígar have been protected as a natural monument since 1973.
The hike starts at Gígur Visitor Centre and ends by Sel Hótel Mývatn.
